It's a day early, but whatevs, figured I'd post this before I go to work. And, oh, look! Sonic’s actually on this page and not in the form of a doodle or a newspaper photo! Does this mean we’re getting closer to these two dorks interacting on-screen together? …Nope. Well, yes, but first I get to drive myself insane with a two-page spread and a couple pages after that before they officially meet in person. I’m not sure when exactly the next page(s) is going to be up because it’s gonna take me a bit longer to do it (two pages instead of one). And my colouring scheme is a bit more complex for the two-page spread as well. So there’s that.

….And then there’s the fact that the Sonic Boom games come out on Tuesday. I’ve pre-ordered both and boy am I psyched to play them (when the demo was finally released I beat it in like twenty minutes. I WANT MOOOOORE~~~!!!) But on the plus side the cartoon was adorable/hilarious and I'm excited to see more.

And since this part takes place in the first game that meant I could draw Green Hill Zone. I like being able to refer to the earlier games. It makes drawing backgrounds so much easier (that isn’t gonna last long), since they’re “simple.”
